Music Clinic for Police
Blue Cross organized a Music Clinic for the Mumbai Police on August 26, 2011, at the office of Mr. Ajit Parasnis, Director General of Police.
It was attended by 300 police officers and Senior IPS officers, as well as Mr. N.H. Israni, Chairman,Blue Cross, Mr. M. N. Israni,Managing Director, Blue Cross and Sp. IG Mr. Hemant Nagrale. It was conducted by well-known artist and homeopath Dr. Rahul Joshi and aimed to help policemen achieve equilibrium of mind, body and soul through music.
Other highlights were Mr. Mahesh Dekate, Dy. Sec., PWD and Dr. Sainath Naikwade, demonstrating asanas and pranayama for a healthy mind and body; Mr. Yashwant Sampat, Finance Wizard, singing Kisiki Muskurahaton pe; and Dr. Kavita Shah's presentation on the effects of music on the body.
The program was such a success that Mr. Parasnis, DGP of Maharashtra, has proposed that a similar music clinic be held again soon, to spread the message of 'sangeet se swasthya'.

Blue Cross at NHDC
The Graduation Day function at Nair Hospital Dental College (NHDC) was agrand event,presided over by the Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai and attended by the Deans of all three Municipal Hospitals in Mumbai - KEM, Nair and Sion Hospitals.
During this event, 64 graduates received the "Scroll of Honor" and took the oath. Blue Cross made its presence felt with vivid banners being put up in the auditorium, as well as in the hall where invitees were served excellent snacks that Blue Cross had arranged.

Chairman Named IDMA 'Mentor of the Year
The IDMA (Indian Drugs Manufacturers' Association) 'Mentor of the Year' Award was conferred on our Chairman Mr. Nihchal H. Israni recently.
He was recognized for his outstanding contribution in mentoring and guiding the growth and development of the National Pharmaceutical Industry.
The citation issued by IDMA highlighted our Chairman's contribution as an industrialist of reputed, deserving of the highest recognition and worthy of the prestigious award for his immense contribution to the pharmaceutical industry.
Concern India Foundation
Blue Cross conducts donation campaigns with TUSO & KOLQ products on a continuous basis to lend its support to Concern India Foundation, which is a non-profit funding organization which supports non-government organizations in making the disadvantaged people self-reliant.
Recently a cheque for a substantial amount was handed over by our Managing Director Mr. Manoj N. Israni to Ms. Gaver Chatterjee, Branch Manage - Concern India Foundation.

National Association for the Blind
The National Association for the Blind (NAB) is the largest voluntary organization in India working for the welfare of the blind.
Blue Cross Laboratories have supported the NAB in its noble cause from time to time and conducts donation campaigns with TUSQ & KOLQ products for the welfare of the Build. A substantial amount generated through the sales of these products was recently handed over by our Chairman, Mr. N. H. Israni, to NAB officials. The Association has acknowledged Blue Cross' support and cooperation as their Partners in Progress.
